ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our client is a successful family business based in Christchurch. They specialize in scrap metal, specialty metals and export these overseas. They have a large presence around Canterbury and are very involved in the industry.
They are after a receptionist to help within their Christchurch branch. This role would suit someone experienced in customer service/retail looking to advance their career in Administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with cash handling, payments, record keeping, eg customers, suppliers and product details (eye to detail is crucial for this)
- Connecting with customers in a helpful and friendly manner & developing rapport with them.
- Operation of the weighbridge and identify product type and weight (full training provided)
- Answering phones, emails and queries
- Organizing office supplies
- Efficiently managing administrative tasks.
- Helping with various office tasks assigned by the office manager
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

-Eye to detail/accuracy
The hours for this role are 7:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday, as well as every third Saturday on a rostered basis.
