SBM Southern Business Machines is a leading and rapidly growing provider of printer sales and services across New Zealand. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and technical support, helping businesses operate efficiently and effectively.

Our Christchurch office is seeking a General Operations Administrator to join the team. This is a key role for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can support sales administration, customer service, and operational processes. You will play an essential role in ensuring seamless business operations from order placement through installation, service, and the ongoing management of sales contracts.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule installations and service appointments for technicians.
• Maintain accurate sales, purchase, and service records and documentation.
• Process sales and service invoicing and manage receivables.
• Communicate with customers to ensure timely and efficient handling of service requests.
• Coordinate toner deliveries and manage the ordering and tracking of parts and supplies.
• Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Serve as one of two primary phone contacts, providing professional and timely responses.
• Provide general administrative support as required to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in finance administration, operational support, or office management.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette.
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems (Jim2 preferred but not essential) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
