Our client, a reputable steel galvanizing company based in Wigram, is looking for a proactive and hands-on Customer Service Representative to join their busy team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction and hands-on tasks. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers while also working closely with the operations team to manage orders, coordinate freight, and assist with logistics.

This is a full time role with the hours of 8:30am - 5pm

$27 per hour dependent on skills/experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Physically check outbound orders on-site to ensure they are ready for collection and update the system accordingly.
• Greet and assist customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Carry out stocktakes and assist with ordering supplies.
• Organise freight and courier collections for outgoing products.
• Operate a forklift on occasion to cover staff breaks

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident working both indoors and outdoors.
• Strong computing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
