Our client are a very successful and longstanding provider of student accommodation. They have built a solid reputation earnt over 20 years, they are one of THE go to companies for both international and domestic students when considering accommodation whilst studying in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE AND ABOUT YOU.
We are looking for an experienced property/real estate sales person who may be tired of the 7 day a week grind. This opportunity will see you listing and selling apartments, solely managed by our client. These are student accommodation apartments so small, fully furnished and well managed by their property management team. Returns are excellent for investors (returning up to 10%pa) and they are well priced (circa $120,000 - $300,000 mark) making a very affordable investment option. This is a role paying a standard retainer and commissions per deal (often with 30 day turnaround on sale). OTE is up to you, but in the vicinity of $150,000 - $300,000 could bey obtainable for a good operator.
Your role:
- Responsible for managing the end to end sales process
- Contacting owners with existing properties in the accommodation
- Talking with potential buyers about the properties
- Work with relevant teams to develop and implement effective sales policies and procedures and prospecting strategies
-Maintain external compliance with government authorities and legislative requirements
Essential requirements for this position include:
- Proven real estate sales experience
· Full Real Estate license is preferred however Agents Rep/Certificate 4 in Real Estate is minimum requirement
· Reliable car and license
·Strong stakeholder management experience
- Nurturing, inspirational, positive and motivational style of communication
- Interpersonal style of a calm, resilient and approachable demeanour
- Self-awareness
- High level of verbal, written, and financial literacy
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills and prioritisation of workload
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to use your initiative
- Commercial acumen
