This role combines strategic leadership, client engagement, business development and consulting delivery, offering the opportunity to further strengthen an already successful market presence while helping clients achieve exceptional outcomes.
About the Role
As Market Leader – Water, you will be responsible for growing client relationships, identifying opportunities, shaping pursuits and supporting the successful delivery of project management and advisory services.
Working closely with clients, partners and CPM's consulting teams, you will help translate opportunities into meaningful outcomes while contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading market growth initiatives and strategic priorities
- Developing and maintaining trusted client and industry relationships
- Identifying, pursuing and securing new opportunities
- Leading bids, tenders and commercial pursuits
- Providing senior leadership and guidance on complex consulting engagements
- Monitoring industry trends and emerging client challenges
- Mentoring and supporting consulting teams
- Representing CPM through stakeholder engagement, industry events and professional networks
- Contributing to business planning and strategic decision-making as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
These responsibilities align with the Market Leader role's accountability for market strategy, client engagement, business development, revenue growth and leadership of complex consulting engagements.
About You You are a trusted and respected professional with a strong network, commercial acumen and a passion for helping clients achieve successful outcomes.
You bring a blend of relationship-building, strategic thinking and delivery experience, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop lasting client partnerships.
You will likely possess:
- Significant experience working with utilities, infrastructure, government or related industries
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability
- Experience delivering project management, advisory, consulting or professional services
- A demonstrated ability to develop and win new business opportunities
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills
- Experience leading teams, projects or major client engagements
- Excellent communication and influencing capability
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
Professional registrations such as RPEQ, CPEng or equivalent will be highly regarded.
