Nexia Perth is looking for a qualified finance professional to join our Outsourced CFO team at our mid-tier accounting practice in the Perth CBD.
  
Financial Reporting Analyst
Gain commercial experience as a Financial Reporting Analyst with a pathway to develop into a Financial Controller. The Nexia Perth Outsourced CFO team specialise in providing financial and company secretarial support services to ASX listed companies, SMEs and not-for-profit organisations. We take a holistic approach to our client’s financial needs. We provide them with accurate and reliable information to run their businesses and make informed financial decisions.  
Salary range of $85,000 - $90,000 package
  
Responsibilities
Utilise your experience working with ASX listed clients and financial reporting to service clients requires these main key areas:

• General ledger – design and implement controls to ensure transactions and reconciliations are accurate and complete;
• Review period end reconciliation and accounting journals;
• Prepare management reports and present financial information to management and/or boards when required;
• Prepare budgets and forecasts;
• Update clients on regulatory and legislative changes in tax law or accounting standards;
• Prepare statutory financial reports including half year and full year as well as quarterly cash flow reports;
• Annual reporting and audit process; and
• ASX, ASIC, ATO, ORIC or ACNC obligations.

About You

• Relevant degree, plus CA, CPA or ACCA qualification;
• 3+ years of relevant post graduate experience;
• Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a collaborative attitude;
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to multitask and manage their time effectively to complete assignments to meet deadlines; and
• Good working knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and Australian Accounting Standards.
