We have an rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our internal finance team.
About the role
Reporting to our approachable and supportive Finance Manager you will be a key team member of our Corporate Services team. You will be passionate about delivering great service to a group of accounting professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to work with exceptional, passionate people who enjoy what they do and are committed to achieving outstanding results.
This is not an entry level role and experience with Xero and payroll is required. Would suit a Experienced Bookkeeper or Finance Officer. Accounting qualifications not essential. The role includes:
- Daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
- Process debtor payments and preparation of banking
- Preparation, processing and payment of creditors
- Monthly reconciliations
- Preparation of fortnightly payrolls 100 + employees
- Trust account management and documentation. Preparation of year end files for Auditors
- Petty cash reimbursements & reconciliation
- Assistance with maintenance of general ledger accounts, reporting obligations and internal financial reporting as required
- Assistance with filing, archiving and other office duties for the team as required

About you
Firstly you will be someone who is eager to carve out an great career in finance in a firm that values people.
With previous working experience as a bookkeeper or in a accounts position, you will possess good knowledge of Xero, understand the importance of accuracy and discretion with a professional team focused approach. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player and be able to work autonomously.
You will have sound judgement, make a strong personal impact and be committed to providing the greatest standard of service to our firm, your colleagues and the community.
