Nexia Sydney is looking for Intermediate Tax Accountant

The role
Prepare corporate tax returns
Conduct independent research and proactively provide findings to senior colleagues
Prepare and draft tax advice for review and discussion with the Director/Manager
Attend on site client meetings to discuss various tax matters
Work with senior team members on ad hoc projects, including tax due diligence and ACA calculations
About you
Minimum 2 years’ experience within Big 4, Chartered Firm or an in-house tax role
Completed a related degree in accounting, tax or law
Completed (or close to finishing) further study (e.g. CA, CTA, Masters of Taxation)
Knowledge of, and interest in tax technical issues such as changes to legislation and its application, changes in reporting requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving skills, with the ability to challenge ideas
Good time management skills and ability to maximise productivity of own time
