The role

• Prepare corporate tax returns
• Conduct independent research and proactively provide findings to senior colleagues
• Prepare and draft tax advice for review and discussion with the Director/Manager
• Attend on site client meetings to discuss various tax matters
• Work with senior team members on ad hoc projects, including tax due diligence and ACA calculations

  
About you

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within Big 4, Chartered Firm or an in-house tax role
• Completed a related degree in accounting, tax or law
• Completed (or close to finishing) further study (e.g. CA, CTA, Masters of Taxation)
• Knowledge of, and interest in tax technical issues such as changes to legislation and its application, changes in reporting requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills, with the ability to challenge ideas
• Good time management skills and ability to maximise productivity of own time
