Job Title: Commercial Manager,
Location: Midlands,
Salary: To £90k (depending on experience),
 
We’re looking for a credible and experienced Commercial Manager or Managing Quantity Surveyor for a highly successful civil engineering construction company with exciting growth plans.  You’ll have significant experience in civil engineering projects and have the capability to oversee the team and all the commercial aspects of the operations across multiple sites and multimillion-pound projects.
 
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Manage project finances, contracts, and profitability for projects
• Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers
• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
• Provide guidance on risk management and contractual compliance
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project goals and deadlines are met

• Success background as a Commercial Manager/Managing Quantity Surveyor in Civil Engineering leading a team
• Strong knowledge of contract law, cost management, and procurement processes
• Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent)
• Expert knowledge of relevant software tools
