ITS Account Executive (North Texas)

Our client is a leader in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and we're seeking an Account Executive to drive regional growth through strategic account management with existing and new clients, focusing on state and local government. The primary responsibility is to develop and manage high-revenue accounts within the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Signal markets.

Location: Various regions, 50% travel required
Territories: North Texas
Work environment: Hybrid (office and travel-based)

This role focuses on developing high-volume business within the North Texas territory, managing existing strategic accounts, and generating new opportunities. The Account Executive will serve as a technical resource for clients, providing on-site support and aligning product offerings to customer needs. This position includes collaboration with vendors, CRM management, and participation in trade shows and bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospecting and managing sales opportunities with state and local government
• Executing a strategic territory management plan
• Providing technical support for traffic and parking safety products
• Supporting vendor/partner sales efforts
• Meeting sales performance metrics and reporting insights
• Maintaining accurate CRM records
• Delivering quotes and responding to inquiries
• Attending trade shows and customer visits (up to 50% travel)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience within the ITS/Signal industry.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales databases.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
