About the Role
The Head of Finance Transformation leads delivery CTM's finance transformation strategy within the Group's ANZ region. The role oversees and optimises the efficiency of Finance operations across the region. It drives regional solutions to streamline finance operations, improve efficiencies and enhance customer service and return on investment at a regional level, while fostering global standardisation and alignment.
This role drives both large scale regional strategic improvement programs through to driving small and medium sized continuous improvement projects by educating and empowering employees how to deliver standardisation, consistency, cost savings, and better coordination across CTM. The role contributes to CTM's success by providing end-to-end support and value-added services by focusing on performance, cost, and service levels.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Transformation: Devise and lead strategic region-wide transformation initiatives with strong leadership, and effective execution. Drive innovation and efficiency and measure impact using data-driven approaches to assess outcomes and impact.
- Innovative thinking – a strong understanding on how to effectively leverage continuous improvement to reduce unnecessary cost/process complexity, while creating or sustaining value. Challenge the status quo and empower stakeholders. Inspire exploration of new ways of working and foster opportunities for learning.
- People leadership - experience leading a large team within a TMO/PMO structure to deliver large scale organisational transformation programs.
- Strategic vendor and partner management – proven experience in driving positive and strategic partnerships that achieve significant outcomes with service providers, vendors and suppliers.
- Stakeholder management – demonstrated excellence in collaborating with senior leaders to ensure initiatives are aligned with business priorities and requirements. Support and encourage individual team members by maintaining open lines of communication that allow people to freely share ideas and celebrate other’s unique contributions.
- Cross -functional mindset –demonstrated ability in unilaterally prioritising disparate needs and actively resolving issues across business functions.
- Persistence – create a compelling vision for the future, motivating individuals/teams to work toward a common goal. Inspire enthusiasm and commitment and remain persistent and in sync with the needs of CTM’s regional and global leaders on the transformation program’s purpose, targets, and approaches.
- Hypervigilance – ensure people take the right actions at the right time. Build a roadmap that explains how to achieve the stated goals and ensuring we remain hypervigilant about uncovering process deficiencies and complexities that could undermine organisational progress.
- Negotiation/influence – ensure implementation of continuous improvement activities is balanced with team readiness to move away from their normal ways of doing business or adoption of new behaviors. Ensure there is built in accountability into behaviour changes, and appropriate rewards are in place.
Education and Experience - Minimum 10 years finance transformation experience within a professional consulting, or large corporate environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, commerce, law, change management or a related field with relevant industry qualification
- Significant change management experience, including demonstrated experience in leading complex change initiatives within a large organisation context
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and achieve change through collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide broad direction to multi-disciplinary teams working on high profile projects to deliver business outcomes within defined timeframes
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
