The Sports division of the business is responsible for managing the travel logistics for high profile national sporting entities, significant global competitions and events and sports related entities.
Working alongside our key sporting brands, attention to detail, experience in travel logistics and solutions focused attitude will contribute to the mutual success of the business and our clients.
About the role:
We are looking for Sports Travel Consultants based in any of our major city offices including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra and Hobart. Work in an exciting and fast-paced role. A typical day will see you manage travel logistics for domestic and international annual sporting fixtures, large ad-hoc group movements and key sports broadcasting entities.
The position also assists in the delivery of key large scale, global sporting events from time to time.
Collaboration and consultation within the Sporting team is a critical pillar in the success of the business and our national sporting bodies. Group travel experience is an essential skill in securing your spot in this highly fast paced team!
Key Responsibilities
- Developing complex travel itineraries for VIP sporting clients
- Providing excellent customer service through verbal and written communication
- Managing multiple large travel bookings at once
- Effectively working with key supplier partners including hotels, airlines and transport providers,
- Working with the wider team to deliver results for customers
Skills and Experience - Demonstrated experience providing leading travel solutions to a range of clients
- The ability to build and retain relationships, whilst operating in a team environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload
- A self-starter who brings enthusiasm and energy to the workplace
- Working knowledge of Sabre or Amadeus, Tramada and excel is essential
- Working knowledge with Groups is highly desirable
