About the Role
The Global Head of Tax will lead CTM’s global tax strategy, ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions while optimising tax efficiency. This senior leadership role will require the development and implementation of global tax policies and risk management strategies, managing relationships with external advisors, and supporting the business through strategic tax planning and guidance.
The role will report directly to the Deputy Global CFO and play a critical part in financial decision-making and the company’s overall tax governance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying tax opportunities and risks.
- High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and a commitment to compliance.
Education and Experience - Minimum of 10 years’ of hands-on experience in either a ‘Big 4’ or large CA firm, or the internal tax function of a large business (i.e. revenue > A$250m).
- Bachelor of Commerce and/or Law, along with membership in either CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Strong knowledge of global tax regulations, including corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
- Demonstrated experience in managing tax strategy, compliance, and risk in multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience in business travel or related industries is preferred but not essential.
