We’re seeking experienced Carpenters to join our Projects teams, we have multiple vacancies across a few of our projects ranging from Civil Construction and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and install formwork for concrete footings, slabs, platforms, bunds, and structural supports for conveyors and substations.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to deliver accurate, high-quality formwork in a fast-paced, operational port environment.
• Work collaboratively with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to meet project milestones and shutdown timelines.
• Maintain compliance with Rio Tinto’s safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Concrete finishing

Requirements:

• Previous Concreting experience desirable
• Carpentry Trade Qualification.
• Rio Tinto Inductions
• Valid HR Class License (not req but an advantage)
• Telehandler Ticket (not req but an advantage)
• White Card
• 4WD Ticket advantage. 
• Proven experience in industrial formwork carpentry, preferably within mining or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to build and strip formwork for large concrete elements and structurally reinforced slabs.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
