Our client, in Whangarei requires a Drainage Supervisor for an immediate start, to join their expanding team.

Your skills will complement our awesome team of plumbers, gas fitters and drainlayers. You will have a strong knowledge of drainage systems and installation methods, including pipe sizes, grades and materials. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to run jobs independently; supervising our team to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard and on time.

To thrive in this role, you will:

• Hold a current NZ PGDB license
• Hold a full NZ driver license
• Have experience running multiple teams of drainlayers (across multiple jobs), including training apprentices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications, and be competent in the completion of job related paperwork
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Great time management skills to ensure goals and deadlines are met
• Have excellent customer service
• Be self motivated
• Have good health & safety knowledge / awareness
• NZ work permit
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
• Experience with producing quotes is desirable, but not essential
