The Opportunity Working closely with experienced Audit Managers and Partners, you'll contribute to a diverse range of audit and assurance engagements across a broad client portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with the delivery of external audit and assurance engagements
- Working closely with Managers, Partners and Directors throughout each stage of the audit process
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted member of the engagement team
- Evaluating and documenting internal controls and control environments
- Reviewing and preparing financial reports under relevant reporting frameworks
- Preparing clear, accurate and insightful audit documentation and reports
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your experience grows
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, values collaboration and is motivated to continue building a long-term career in Audit.
Ideally, you'll have: - A degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce
- Approximately 2+ years' experience in External Audit within a professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian auditing standards
- Progress towards your CA qualification (or an intention to commence)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- A proactive attitude with the ability to build trusted client relationships
