The People, Capability and Culture (PC&C) Directorate is future-focused and equipped to provide the best possible support to Te Puni Kōkiri. As an HR Advisor you’ll be responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of advice and practices in relation to HR issues and work closely with the Principal Advisor – HR and wider Directorate.
The broader portfolios will enable you to demonstrate your knowledge of HR best practice with the ability to provide advice in areas such as employment relations, performance management, remuneration, change management, workforce management, and employee engagement, as well as recruitment which means you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Ensure HR policies and processes are fully implemented and operationalised
- Provide high quality, consistent HR support and advice to People Leaders
- Identify and proactively manage risk regarding HR practices and decisions
- Support change management outcomes across the business, assisting with end-to-end change management processes including business case advice
- Support business outcomes in areas such as Employee Engagement, Workforce Planning, Talent Management and Succession Planning
- Identify and provide relevant HR information to provide data and insights to help inform decisions
- Apply and advise people leaders on best practice selection and appointment
