My client, an established medium-sized accountancy practice in North County Dublin, is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Technician to join their team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1-3 years of practice experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and SMEs
• Handle the preparation and filing of VAT, income tax, and corporation tax returns
• Contribute to audit engagements, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory
  requirements
• Develop monthly management accounts for a diverse client portfolio, providing valuable insights and analysis

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of practice experience in an accountancy firm – essential
• Ideally IATI Qualified or working towards
• Proficient in using Xero, Bright Accounts Production, and ROS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Working Hours
09:00AM – 17:30PM, full time off based with the opportunity for flexibility to
accommodate work-life balance. This roel can be offered on Part basis for a 3 or 4 day week as well.
