My client, an accountancy practice in North Dublin, is hiring a highly motivated Senior Audit Manager to join their Audit & Accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Board of Directors, leading audits, managing teams, and building strong client relationships.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring compliance, guiding financial reporting, and contributing to the firm’s success.
Duties

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Audit & Accounts team.
• Conduct performance appraisals and support skill development.
• Oversee and review statutory financial statements and accounts files.
• Ensure engagements comply with professional standards and deadlines.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the team.
• Review corporation tax returns and ensure timely filings.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
• Identify client needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Cross-sell services and support new business development.
• Liaise with departments to ensure client needs are met.
• Manage the recoverability of work in progress and achieve billable targets.
• Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge and CPD requirements.
• Contribute to business consultancy projects and other ad hoc tasks.

• ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in audit and accounts preparation.
• Strong technical knowledge (e.g., UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs).
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
