My client, an Accounting Practice based in North County Dublin, is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join their team. This is a key senior hire reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The successful candidate will oversee an Audit team of approximately 15 staff, with three direct Audit Managers reporting into them. This is an exciting opportunity to play a strategic role in a growing practice, ensuring high quality service delivery and contributing to the firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts engagements, ensuring compliance with professional standards and deadlines.
• Oversee and review statutory financial statements, accounts files for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Review corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on technical queries and professional development.
• Liaise with clients throughout the year, ensuring excellent client service and relationship management.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address client needs effectively.
• Monitor work-in-progress profitability and achieve monthly targets for billable work.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing training and CPD requirements.
• Assist in business development activities, including proposals and formal presentations to prospective clients.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years Senior Audit experience coupled with people management.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
• Strong technical knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and ISA’s.
• Tech-savvy with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Excellent planning, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
