Our client is an Australian fund manager with over $15 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM).  Our client offers multiple fund strategies across all asset classes.

About the role
Our client is seeking an intelligent professional, with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain key industry relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the sales strategy across Private Wealth Advisors, Stockbrokers, and IFAs in Victoria and Tasmania.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining a pipeline of business opportunities across Private Wealth Advisors, Stockbrokers, and large IFAs
• Arrange client luncheons and presentations for Portfolio Managers
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the investment products offered 
• Present investment products to your client channels
• Contribute to sales innovation with new ideas and methods to enhance sales performance
• Mentor a Junior Business Development Manager
• Attend industry events, conferences, and PD days.

Skills & experience: 

• Experience in financial services, preferably in a business development role within Funds Management
• Ability to foster client relationships in funds management sales and engagement across all asset classes
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• High integrity, quality standards, and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
