Our client is a Australian fund manager with over $15 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM).  Our client offers multiple fund strategies across all asset classes. 

About the role
You will be a part of a professional, hard-working and intelligent team. You will work alongside a senior BDM in Melbourne and report to team members across Australia. You will be responsible for promoting the company's investment philosophy, portfolio construction beliefs, products (wholesale and retail) and service to prospective Financial Advisers and practices.

• Undertakes and manages over the phone outbound sales campaigns and email campaigns as directed by the Regional Sales Manager
• Assists in the preparation and presentation of workshops, professional development days, events and seminars, and other intermediary events as required
• Assisting with budget planning and tracking, monitoring of fund flows for the state
• Assisting regional managers with various reporting, meeting preparation and follow up including competitor analysis.

Skills & experience

• Undergraduate degree in a finance related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Minimum of two years in funds management, client contact, financial planning or sales experience is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of investment management industry, markets and a broad understanding of the funds management environment is essential
• Good understanding of multiple asset classes
• Presentable and articulate
• Experience using Morningstar Direct (highly regarded).
