Key Responsibilities:
- Bagging and packaging products
- Labeling and tagging items accurately
- Performing quality control checks
- Providing inventory support
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Following safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborating with the team to meet production goals
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations and performing general maintenance
- Loading and unloading trucks per plant requirements
- Completing order fulfillment tasks in a timely manner
- Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain warehouse machinery
- Coordinating and participating in daily housekeeping activities
- Assisting plant personnel as needed
- Other duties as required
Requirements: - Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Capable of performing physical job duties (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely)
- Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) and be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up as needed
- Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Experience operating forklifts
- Ability to work day/afternoon/night shift rotation.
- Shift Schedule Tuesday – Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting
- Trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
- High school diploma or equivalent
