We’re looking for a Bid & Marketing Assistant on a contract basis, who’ll proactively support the delivery of high-quality bid submissions and content to clients.
Each bid has a deadline and specific requirements, so your ability to proactively coordinate different requirements will be crucial.
Working as part of the National bid team and located in our Brisbane office, you’ll be responsible for supporting the bid team by:
- Assist in creation and formatting of proposals and tender documentation using Adobe Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and InDesign.
- Preparing tenders and bids layout; including identifying response requirements, coordinating input from relevant disciplines, and assisting with the production of the non-technical sections of proposals (for example, tailoring CVs and sourcing relevant project examples).
- Coordinating and tracking tender opportunities, as well as completed panel submissions – distributing them to the leadership team, ensuring RPI’s tender portal profiles are up to date.
- Developing supporting visuals/graphics for bids and content, including diagrams, org. charts and promotional collateral.
- Developing and maintaining general marketing material to support bids and client enquiries – this includes capability statements, case studies, staff CVs and our photo reference library.
- Assisting the marketing team with business newsletters, LinkedIn content and company intranet updates.
Candidate Profile To be successful in this role, you’ll need demonstrated experience (1-2 years) working in a professional services organisation (preferred). This could be in a marketing, administration, communications, bids support role or a related capacity. You’ll also need the following:
- Confident communicator with strong engagement skills, to work with leaders across the Australian business.
- Strong design and documentation skills with the ability to create branded content for internal and external use.
- A keen eye for detail with a strong focus on brand standards and quality control.
- The ability to write, proofread and edit content with a professional tone, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency are maintained.
- Strong experience in MS Office (especially MS Word and PowerPoint), with excellent formatting skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat would be beneficial (but is not essential).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, influencing and presentation skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Design, Marketing, Administration, Arts, Business, Communications, PR or related field (or currently working towards that).

- Meaningful career development opportunities, including tailored professional development plans and mentoring from experienced leaders.
- Opportunities to contribute to major, city-shaping projects and pursuits across Australia.
