About the Position

Our Herons Creek site is filled with a welcoming and social team. We are seeking two Maintenance / Handypersons with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join the team on a Permanent Full-time basis. If you enjoy working across different equipment and machinery, we are interested in talking to you.  

Our large site at Herons Creek comprises both a Saw Mill and Dry Mill. You will complete a range of tasks to assist in ensuring our site is safe and habitable.

We are looking for candidates who are available to work the following shifts on a permanent basis:
Monday to Thursday - 6.20am - 3pm
Friday - 6.20am - 12.40pm

Key tasks include but are not limited to:

• Carry out building and site repairs, improvements and upkeep;
• Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance across the site;
• Work autonomously and is able to see an issue and fix it
• Able to turn your hand to a variety of tasks.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Trade qualification and experience in a similar maintenance role;
• Great problem solving and attention to detail 
• Shows initiative and takes pride in their work;
• Physical capability for tasks such as heavy lifting, working at heights etc.
• Able to manage projects with minimal supervision;
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborative with a team
