Company Overview: A leading player in the electrical industry, known for many premium brands are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their team, focusing on the Electrical Wholesale market in Northern  Ireland. This role is pivotal in gaining distribution, driving sales, and ensuring the success of their main brands.
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Representation:
• Act as the primary ambassador for our main brands across Lighting, Electrical, and EV Charging - within the Electrical Wholesale market in Northern Ireland.
• Communicate brand value propositions and unique selling points to key stakeholders.
2. Distribution Expansion:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand product distribution within the Electrical Wholesale market.
• Identify and establish relationships with new wholesalers to increase market reach.
3. Sales Growth:
• Drive sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned brands.
• Implement effective sales strategies, promotions, and incentive programs to stimulate growth.
4. Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within Electrical Wholesale accounts.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
5. Market Analysis:
• Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market research to inform strategic decisions.
6. Product Knowledge:
• Stay updated on the features, specifications, and applications of our main brands.
• Conduct training sessions for wholesale partners to ensure a thorough understanding of product offerings.
7. Promotional Campaigns:
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns and events to enhance brand visibility and stimulate sales.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotional materials.
8. Forecasting and Reporting:
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management regularly.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer services.
• Work closely with the Trade Marketing team to align promotional activities with brand strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in trade sales management within the electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of the Electrical Wholesale market in Northern Ireland.
• Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel as needed within Ireland.
