Location: UK (Remote with frequent travel)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (negotiable)

Position Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to drive the technical success of our LED lighting projects.
You'll be responsible for conducting detailed site surveys for both new and ongoing projects across the
UK, precisely measuring existing lighting infrastructure, and identifying opportunities for advanced LED
Specification and control solutions that enhance client benefits. This role requires strong project
coordination, clear communication, and excellent project management skills to ensure all technical
proposals are delivered on time and to the highest standard. You will also collaborate closely with our
lighting design department, providing support as needed.
Acting under the guidance of our Commercial and Project Development teams, you'll bring technical
clarity and commercial value to projects, ensuring our LED lighting and control solutions are effectively
surveyed, specified, and delivered. You'll play a key role in integrating our solutions, which are central
to driving client value in both public and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Detailed Site Surveys: Perform thorough on-site surveys (approximately three site
visits a week) across the UK and Pan-Europe to accurately assess incumbent lighting types,
layouts, conditions, and upgrade potential. You will initially shadow our current Technical
Manager for training.
- Lighting Controls Commissioning & Support: Commission and provide ongoing support for
wired, wireless, and integrated lighting control systems across client sites.
- Project Coordination & Management: Manage project timelines, ensure technical accuracy,
and oversee document delivery across multiple complex, multi-site projects. This includes
comprehensive LED Project Management and Project Specification.
- Technical Client Engagement: Deliver professional client engagement that builds trust and
fosters repeat business. You will also participate in customer meetings to articulate the
technical aspects of projects.
- Commercial Opportunity Recognition: Proactively identify and act on commercial
opportunities discovered during project assessments.
- Lighting Design Support: Provide efficient lighting design support when required.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our Sales, Lighting Design, and
Operations teams to progress client opportunities and support seamless integration across
departments.
Personal Specification
Qualifications and Experience:
- Electrician qualifications preferred with contemporary certifications.
- Ideal candidate would have 5+ years of demonstrable electrician experience, with a strong
background in implementing LED Lighting upgrades (e.g., in industrial and commercial
applications).
- Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Relux or Dialux). AutoCAD experience is a plus
(training can be provided if required).
- Proven expertise in LED Specification and understanding of advanced lighting control
solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to record and communicate complex technical
information clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable working independently on-site and in client-facing roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite for communication and documentation.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively throughout the UK.
