About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Engineer to help drive the continued expansion of our UK sales. This is a pivotal role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for success. As a Sales Engineer, you will help shape and execute the company’s sales strategy, ensuring we meet our sales, revenue, and profit targets.
This hybrid role involves a mix of office-based, home-based, and fieldwork, giving you the opportunity to meet clients across the UK and potentially internationally. You will act as a key representative, playing an essential part in maintaining and growing relationships with our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Director of Global Sales.
• Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to meet business objectives.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and annual revenue goals.
• Present sales strategy progress and results in monthly management meetings.
• Drive sustainable business growth by meeting KPIs and targets.
• Represent the company in key negotiations with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Implement business plan and sales strategy to enhance market presence.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of the full product range and communicate its value to clients.
• Maintain and strengthen the companies reputation for delivering expert technical advice and solutions.
• Regularly present and demonstrate our product offerings to both new and existing customers.
• Ensure our products remain top of mind for customers and generate repeat business.
• Collect and relay customer feedback on products to the design team for continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
• Promote the Lighting products and services exclusively.

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer in the lighting industry.
• In-depth knowledge of lighting products and applications.
• Track record of successful sales growth and business development.
• High self-motivation with a strong ability to achieve results independently.
• Solid commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals at various levels.
• Proficiency in IT and relevant sales tools.
