Reports to: Project Services Director
Role Purpose
As a Project Manager, you will be a highly skilled and dynamic individual. You
will have Field Application Engineer (FAE) capabilities and Project Management experience. You
will play a crucial part in the delivery of Projects and Services throughout the UK. You will
have an exemplary record of project delivery and a strong background in lighting controls
architecture, coupled with the ability to provide technical support to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Record and understand the key project deliverables and milestones.
Manage multiple projects and monitor them within a programme.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, positively and professionally;
face to face, by telephone and in writing.
Manage all aspects of project health and safety to current legislation and best practice.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, under budget and meeting the quality expectations.
Manage regular reviews to measure progress against project commitments. Identify and manage project change control.
Manage and keep up to date necessary records to deliver the project that conforms to legal requirements,
business needs and customer expectations.
Provide regular reports to the Project Services Director on project status and actions being taken.
Assess and identify lighting control solutions suitable for the application and project scope.
Ability to formulate controls strategy based on customer specification.
Support staff with technical queries regarding lighting controls.
Be knowledgeable about industry trends and emerging technologies.

Ability to work independently with remote management and take responsibility for project delivery.
IT skills, including MS Office and MS Project
Electrical background and/or working experience with electrical systems.
Construction experience, knowledge of CDM and relevant Health & Safety practices.
Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP an advantage)
Familiarity with IoT and smart building technologies.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) integration.
Knowledge of lighting design principles and practices.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel with overnight stays within the UK
