About the Team
Our Queensland Property & Development team is looking for a lawyer with 1–4 years' post-admission experience to join their growing practice.
Within the team we have a practice, led by Grace Wimberley, who advise a broad range of Australian and international clients on significant capital transactions, developments and renewable energy projects. Our clients include institutional property clients, property developers, hotel and resort owners and renewable energy developers.

About the Role
You'll work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a range of matters, including:
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial, industrial and retail property
- Residential and commercial developments, including development management agreements and titling
- Land acquisitions, tenure arrangements and environmental offsets for renewable energy projects
- Service agreements and ancillary arrangements for carbon sequestration projects
- Property and project finance transactions
- regulatory approvals and foreign investment matters
While based in Brisbane, you'll be involved in transactions across Australia.
From day one, you'll have meaningful client contact, increasing responsibility for your own matters and opportunities to contribute to business development. As your experience grows, you'll also mentor junior lawyers and help develop the next generation of the team.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- 1–4 years' post-admission experience in commercial property
- Experience on commercial property transactions, including due diligence and settlement arrangements with appropriate supervision
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Commercial judgement and a practical approach to solving problems
- A genuine interest in building client relationships and developing their career
- The ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
Experience in renewable energy, carbon sequestration projects or finance transactions is advantageous but not essential.
