Fynd is excited to partner with a leading technology solutions provider that is hiring a Hunter-style Business Development Manager in Brisbane - and we’re looking for someone with serious sales chops.

About the Role
 
As a Brisbane-based BDM, you’ll take charge of new business development in Queensland, driving regional growth using a proven and high-performance sales model.
 
You’ll:

• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → proposal → close
• Focus on new consulting and MSP business – this is not an account management role
• Build trust-based relationships with C-level stakeholders
• Leverage partnerships (Databricks, Arctic Wolf, AWS, Palo Alto, Cisco, and more)
• Collaborate with experienced solution architects and delivery specialists
• Help displace legacy MSPs and build long-term partnerships

What We’re Looking For
 
Ideally you'll have:

• 5+ years in business development roles within IT consulting, MSP, or channel sales
• Proven success in selling services (not SaaS or licensing)
• Strong hunter mentality - proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented
• Experience working through vendor/partner sales channels
• Ability to influence and build credibility with C-level stakeholders
• Based in Brisbane – comfortable with in-person networking and office presence 2–3 days/week

Nice-to-Haves:

• Existing network in QLD IT or MSP ecosystem
• Background selling into enterprise or government (or both)
• Experience with relocation or cloud migration projects

Location & Workstyle

• Based in Brisbane CBD
• Hybrid flexibility - in-office 2-3 days/week
• Face-to-face client engagement is essential (coffee catchups, lunches, events)

Salary & Commission

• Base Salary: $150,000 + Super
• OTE: Up to $300,000 (includes ~$125K commissions via accelerator model)
