Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician – Assessment & Invigilation Support
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £34,004 – £36,501 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time

We’re recruiting for a hands-on Motor Vehicle Technician to support apprenticeship assessments and ensure the smooth delivery of End Point Assessment (EPA) processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid motor vehicle experience who is keen to contribute to learner success through a well-organised and compliant assessment environment.

About the Role:
Working closely with the End Point Assessment Manager and Coordinator, you will help to plan, prepare, and oversee the delivery of apprenticeship assessments in Motor Vehicle and other technical areas. You’ll ensure the right tools, spaces, and support are in place for assessments, maintaining exam integrity throughout.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare assessment areas, tools, and equipment in advance
• Support the EPA team by completing relevant documentation
• Liaise with curriculum staff to access specialist resources
• Assist with assessment setup, reset, and clear-down on assessment days
• Provide in-room support to learners during assessments, ensuring exam conditions and compliance
• Carry out stock checks and return resources to curriculum areas post-assessment
• Offer support across other construction-related departments when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle
• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Practical experience working in a motor vehicle technician role
• Knowledge of apprenticeship standards or assessment processes is desirable
• Organised, proactive and reliable – with a strong focus on detail and integrity

Interview Information:
