We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team covering a range of sites across North East Scotland.
 
The role will involve carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial gas, heating and wider building services systems. You will also be responsible for fault finding, repairs and installation works, with an out-of-hours callout rota as part of the position.
 
The Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas, heating and HVAC systems.
• Fault find and diagnose issues across commercial combustion and heating systems.
• Complete repairs, installations and replacement works to gas and heating systems.
• Undertake general building services maintenance, including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fabric works where required.
• Respond to out-of-hours callouts as part of an approximately 1-in-12 rota.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations and standards.
• Travel between client sites across North East Scotland.

About You:

• Strong experience working with commercial gas, combustion and heating systems.
• Experienced in planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial FM or building services environment.
• Confident fault finding, repairing and maintaining commercial heating and gas systems.
• Commercial Gas qualifications including COCN1 or CODNC1, alongside TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1 and CIGA1.
• Domestic gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT1 and CPA1.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, HVAC or a related mechanical discipline.
• IPAF/PASMA desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Working Hours & Package:

• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
• £48,000 - £51,000 basic salary
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
• On-call rota - approximately 1 in 12 - £150 standby payment
• Company van, phone and PDA provided
• Personal use of the van
• Long-term, stable contract with a consistent workload
