The opportunity
This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious Distribution Centre leader ready to step into a high‑impact role within a business in strong growth mode. You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day warehouse DC performance while shaping a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement.

You’re an operator at heart; driven, curious, and energised by pace and challenge. We're looking for an all-round leader... you can grow people, deliver analysis on KPIs, great communication skills, and be hands on picking orders when needed!

• Growth‑minded DC leader: With 5+ years’ experience in warehouse or distribution environments, you’re hungry to keep learning, scaling operations, and lifting performance. You thrive in change and enjoy leading a DC that’s evolving fast; whilst getting hands on on the floor where needed. 
• Commercially sharp: You’re numerically and financially confident, able to own budgets, costs, and KPIs. You don’t just read the numbers; you tell the story behind them and turn insight into action.
• Safety‑led and service‑focused: You set the standard for safety, compliance, and SOPs, embedding this into team culture and daily operations while delivering consistently strong service outcomes.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience in a high-volume warehousing or distribution environment in a management / leadership role. You'll be happy to be on the floor and hands-on in this role. 
• A real hunger and energy to grow the DC and create an environment where the team and business can thrive.
• Proven leadership of a team of up to 2 direct reports, and up to 10 indirects. You’ll also have experience to manage stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to the business.
• Ability to prepare and deliver daily, weekly & monthly performance report based on SLA for inbound, outbound and commercial targets.
• Safety and wellbeing is at the core of who you are and the way you lead. People are our most important asset.
• Solid capability with Microsoft Office, including excel, and WMS platforms. This is essential for the role.
