Job Description
Join OpenStar’s Special Projects Team as a Tritium Breeding Blanket Intern, and work on one of fusion’s most technically demanding components. This project involves the mechanical design of a Tritium Breeding Blanket for a first-of-its-kind experimental fusion reactor.
Tritium breeding is critical for enabling long-term self-sufficient fusion fuel cycles. You’ll explore design concepts, integrate practical and material requirements, and model performance in extreme operating conditions.
