As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Group Lead to join our Coasts & Marine team in New South Wales. This is an opportunity for an experienced technical leader to combine their expertise with people leadership, business development and strategic influence.


Key Outcomes

As Group Lead, you will:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of coastal and marine professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
• Drive technical excellence and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
• Strengthen and grow client relationships while identifying new opportunities and markets.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Coasts & Marine discipline.
• Support the successful delivery of projects by overseeing resourcing, quality, financial performance and risk management.
• Mentor and develop future leaders, building technical capability across the team.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across the business to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients

About You
You are an experienced coastal and marine professional with a passion for both technical excellence and people leadership.

You enjoy developing others, building strong client relationships and influencing the strategic direction of a team. Whether your background is in science, engineering or a related discipline, you are recognised for delivering quality outcomes, fostering collaboration and creating trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Coastal Science, Marine Science, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant consulting experience within the coastal, marine, environmental or water sectors.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience managing project budgets, resources and client expectations.
• Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience contributing to business development, proposals and tender submissions.
• The ability to make sound decisions, navigate change and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
