Due to continued growth, we are seeking Project Engineers and Senior Engineers to join our Flooding team in Brisbane.
Whether you're ready to take the next step into a Project Engineer role or are already operating at Senior Engineer level, you'll play a key role in delivering a diverse range of floodplain management, flood modelling, drainage and hydraulic engineering projects across Australia. You will work alongside recognised industry experts, contribute to complex and meaningful projects, and help communities become more resilient to flooding and climate change impacts.
We are looking for engineers with strong technical capability, a collaborative mindset and hands-on experience using TUFLOW and/or QGIS.
Key Outcomes
- Deliver flood modelling, floodplain management and hydraulic engineering projects for government and private sector clients.
- Apply and interpret hydrologic and hydraulic modelling techniques to solve complex flooding challenges.
- Develop, operate and review flood models using TUFLOW and related software tools.
- Utilise QGIS and spatial datasets to support model development, analysis, mapping and project delivery.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, flood studies, flood impact assessments and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across water resources, coastal, environmental and infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to project planning, budgeting and delivery to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support proposal preparation, business development and identification of new opportunities.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members (Senior Engineer level).
- Contribute to innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Flooding discipline.

Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia or a similar degree.
- Experience in floodplain management, hydrology, hydraulics, water resources or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience using TUFLOW for hydraulic and flood modelling.
- Strong working knowledge of QGIS and spatial data analysis.
- Experience interpreting and communicating technical findings through reports, presentations and mapping outputs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Project management and client-facing experience will be highly regarded.
