Water Technology is an employee-owned Australian water business with teams across Australia and New Zealand, delivering technical excellence in flood studies, coastal & marine, environmental planning, civil and environmental engineering and water management. We are dedicated to work that improves communities and the environment by combining science, engineering and practical design.
 
 
We have an opportunity for a Student Engineer to our Queensland Coasts & Marine team on a casual basis.
 
During the internship you will have the opportunity to shadow and learn from our engineers and scientists in the Coasts & Marine discipline and across the organisation. You will gain hands-on experience assisting on small projects and learning on the job. This is a paid internship. 
 
So, who are we looking for? 

• Those who have specific interest in coastal management
• Undergraduates in their penultimate or final year.
• Civil or Environmental engineering disciplines will be prioritised (with a focus on coastal subject orientation in your study or work experience)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

 
What to expect during the recruitment process:

3. Capability assessment after the phone interview.
4. Your profile and assessment will be assessed by leaders 
5. Shortlisted candidates from this round will be invited to attend an interview via Teams or in-person
