Talent-UK are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Brighouse area for a Temporary Receptionist to provide sickness cover. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, professional and friendly individual who enjoys working in a busy office environment and providing a high standard of customer service.
 
As the first point of contact for the business, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors, handling incoming calls and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Greeting, welcoming and directing visitors, clients and customers in a professional manner.
• Answering, screening and forwarding incoming telephone calls, providing information where required.
• Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming post, arranging couriers and sending outgoing mail via Royal Mail.
• Managing appointment calendars, booking meeting rooms and issuing visitor badges in line with security procedures.
• Providing general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, scanning production orders and maintaining telephone lists.
• Assisting with administrative and finance-related tasks, including processing invoices from delivery notes, invoicing sample kits, updating purchasing information and checking new account forms.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and professional reception area at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
• Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
• Good time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive, reliable and professional approach, with the ability to work well under pressure.

What's on Offer?

• Hourly rate of £14.50 per hour
• Working hours: 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday
• Temporary Sickness cover opportunity until the 23rd of December
