Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in the Normanton area. Our client is a leading supplier of equipment to the UK market and offers excellent training, development, and long-term career progression opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking for part-time hours in a supportive and friendly working environment.
 
Reporting to the Finance & Administration Director, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Using Sage 50 Accounts on a daily basis
• Credit control, including liaising with customers and internal departments
• Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately
• Processing employee expenses and authorising standard engineer expenses
• Preparing month-end BACS payment runs for suppliers
• Producing monthly sales reports
• Completing Excel-based reconciliation reports
• Answering incoming telephone calls professionally
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Finance & Administration Director
• Providing office cover when required
• Supporting the wider team with additional duties as requested by management

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
• Good working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional telephone manner and good listening skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

What's On Offer

• £28,000-£30,000 pro rata (£14.36-£15.38 per hour)
• Part-time hours: 10:00am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday
