We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Person for our client who are well-known engineering business in the Huddersfield area on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday with a salary of £28,000.00, excellent working conditions and ongoing training and progression opportunities.  
 
Responsibilities of the Stores Person:

• Dealing with goods inwards/outwards, stock control, and inventory management
• Conducting stock takes and working with stock control systems would be a distinct advantage.
• Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory or CMMS system.
• Issue parts and materials to engineers as required.
• Liaise with engineering teams, purchasing, and suppliers regarding parts availability.
• Support continuous improvement of stores processes and inventory control.

 
Experience of the Stores Person:

• Experience of working in a fast-paced engineering stores environment
• Computer literate - use of n house systems
• In date FLT Licence (Counterbalance)
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

 
What is offer to the Stores Person:

• Salary £28,000.00 pa
• Working days Monday to Friday
• Overtime available at excellent rates
• 31 days holiday including bank holidays
