Auto Electrician / Electrical Assembler – Full-Time, Permanent

Salary from £12.21 per hour, dependant on experience
Location: Doncaster

A leading manufacturer of high-quality trailers, serving the UK, Ireland, and export markets, is currently seeking an Electrical Fitter to join their growing team at the Doncaster factory. Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter:

• Wire internal and external lighting systems on trailers
• Install, inspect, and maintain vehicle electrical systems
• Use hand and power tools (e.g. drills, grinders, crimpers, heat shrink guns)
• Carry out diagnostic tests and troubleshoot electrical faults
• Splice wires as required and test lighting systems for safe operation
• Interpret and work from production information to meet specification standards
• Complete tasks efficiently, accurately, and within timeframes
• Conduct quality control checks within your area of responsibility
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and machinery

What we need from you for the Electrical Fitter role:

• Experience in auto-electrics, ideally within the commercial vehicle sector or a similar industry
• Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week minimum)
• Overtime available
