Pacific People Solutions are very pleased to partner with our valued client, Alpha HPA, to source Procurement Lead in a contract role, for their Stage Two Project.

The Alpha HPA First Project Stage Two is an integral part of the company’s vision to successfully commercialise the ultra-high purity aluminium product range that will support the global decarbonisation transition.

The Procurement Lead will be a key part of the project team and will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities from cradle to grave, to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment and services to meet project deliverables.

This role will be leading a small team of procurement professionals, collaborating with engineering, construction and project management teams, as well as managing supplier relationships to ensure successful delivery of all required resources for the project.

This Procurement Lead position will be a contract role, located in the project office in Spring Hill, to see through the delivery phases of the project. This role is anticipated to be 2 - 3 years in duration, and will be based from the Project office in Spring Hill.

We would be really pleased to receive your application should you possess:

• 7-10+ years of procurement experience in a similar process, industrial or construction industries with a focus on past experience in large-scale projects
• Bachelors Degree in Supply chain management, business, Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in leading procurement teams and managing complex supplier relationships
• Strong knowledge of procurement best-practices and contract management
• Well developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving project cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
