Our client, Alpha HPA, is an ASX-listed clean technology manufacturer at the forefront of sustainable innovation. Their breakthrough process delivers high-purity aluminium materials with a fraction of the environmental footprint of traditional methods, supporting global decarbonisation and the shift to clean energy.
They are seeking a Social Media & Content Coordinator to join their small but high-performing corporate team. Reporting to the Head of External Affairs and Communications, this is a rare chance to step into a role where you’ll help shape a brand voice from the ground up, telling the story of Australian innovation to global audiences.
In this role, you’ll be the digital storyteller, content creator and social media driver who turns ideas into scroll-stopping campaigns and engaging copy. Your work will connect with customers, investors, government, employees and community stakeholders alike.
This isn’t your standard marketing role. It’s creative, strategic, and hands-on – perfect for someone with initiative, energy and the drive to make an impact.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube) and grow them with accurate, engaging, on-brand content.
- Write creative, clear copy tailored to different audiences – from engineers to investors to students.
- Design compelling graphics in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Contribute to campaigns that support everything from customer growth to community engagement.
- Help roll out internal communications that engage employees.
- Keep the content library (photos, videos, templates, brand assets) fresh and organised.
- Stay across digital trends and bring new ideas to the table.
- Support the communications team with related activities as required.
What we’re looking for - Experience in a marketing, communications or content-focused role (agency or in-house).
- Tertiary qualification (or currently working towards one) in marketing, communications, or related field.
- A strong writer who can adapt tone and style across different audiences.
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented – with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Confident in Canva and/or Adobe Suite, with a good eye for design.
- Social media savvy – you know what works on LinkedIn vs what doesn’t.
- Collaborative, curious, and passionate about sustainability, clean tech, or critical minerals.
Why this role stands out - Be part of a small, agile team making a global impact.
- Work closely with senior leadership and see your ideas come to life.
- Join a supportive environment with genuine career growth opportunities.
- Free parking at the Morningside HQ.
- Contribute to work that’s helping enable the clean energy transition.
