You will play a key role in winning, onboarding, and servicing new SME commercial clients, delivering high‑quality advice and ensuring a smooth placement process. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial insurance knowledge, excellent client‑facing skills, and a proactive approach to generating and converting new business opportunities.
 
Key responsibilities:
 

• Handle all new business enquiries for SME commercial clients, ensuring accurate fact‑finding and risk capture.
• Prepare and issue new business quotations, working closely with insurers to secure competitive terms.
• Support Account Executives with prospecting, pipeline management, and conversion activity.
• Administer policies and coordinate with insurers and clients to deliver optimal solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all documentation, system entries, and compliance requirements are completed accurately.
• Identify opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell across wider proposition.
• Provide exceptional service throughout the onboarding process to maximise client satisfaction and retention.

Key Skills & Experience:
 

• Experience in commercial insurance, ideally within SME or mid‑market environments.
• Strong understanding of core commercial lines (Property, Liability, Motor, PI, Cyber, etc.).
• Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Progress towards Cert CII (or willingness to study)
