Key Duties:

• Manage a varied caseload of litigated motor (RTA Claims).
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, applications, and instructions to counsel.
• Conduct case analysis, liability assessment, and quantum evaluation to support litigation strategy.
• Provide clear, accurate legal advice to clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate settlements proactively and commercially, ensuring cost-effective outcomes.
• Prepare cases for trial, including evidence collation, disclosure, and liaising with counsel.
• Ensure all work complies with SRA standards, internal policies, and client SLAs.
• Maintain accurate file management, time recording, and MI updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the litigation team.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, opponents, and colleagues across the business.

Experience and Skills required:

• This role is suitable for experienced legal advisors with significant knowledge of RTA claims handling and the full litigation process.
• A solid working knowledge of the CPR, legislation and relevant case law.
• Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Focus on delivering quality service to clients and the firm.
