Role Purpose:
The Product Governance Executive will play a key role in ensuring our Company's product portfolio complies with FCA Consumer Duty requirements and wider regulatory frameworks. This role supports the design, monitoring, and review of insurance products to deliver fair value and positive customer outcomes, while maintaining our Company's reputation as a trusted MGA partner across the UK and Ireland.

Key Duties:

• Product Oversight & Governance
  • Support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from design to ongoing monitoring.
  • Ensure products meet FCA Consumer Duty standards and internal governance frameworks.
  • Maintain product governance documentation, including value assessments, target market statements, and distribution oversight.
• Compliance & Risk
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise on implications for product governance.
  • Assist in preparing reports for senior management and regulators.
  • Undertaking and monitoring compliance-based projects
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and distribution teams to embed governance standards.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues on product governance requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for product oversight queries.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the refinement of governance frameworks and processes.
  • Support audits and reviews, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance customer value and transparency.
  • Support with ongoing maintenance of product literature, including Policy Wordings, IPID's, ICOBS
  • Incorporate lessons learned to enhance process and guidelines

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of UK insurance regulation (FCA, IPID's, ICOBS, Consumer Duty, Product Governance).
• Experience in underwriting, compliance, or product management within insurance.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
• Vital to have strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams.
