Consumer Engagement Strategist – Therapy Lead for Neuroscience to champion consumer thinking and lead the development of impactful engagement strategies across the UK and Nordic markets.
In this role, you’ll put consumers at the heart of every decision — uncovering their needs, motivations, and challenges to design experiences that are relevant, intuitive, and transformative. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams and agencies to bring the consumer perspective to life across all campaigns and communications.
Key Responsibilities - Build a deep understanding of consumers within the neuroscience space (including Alzheimer’s and Dementia) through segmentation, persona development, and journey mapping.
- Define and deliver a five-year consumer engagement strategy for neuroscience across the Northern European Hub.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of consumer campaigns across the most effective channels.
- Collaborate with creative and media agencies to localise global content and create impactful, market-relevant materials.
- Ensure compliance through partnership with legal and regulatory teams.
- Drive data-led decision making, leveraging insights to refine and improve performance.
- Partner with internal teams — including marketing, digital, medical affairs, legal, and sales — to embed consumer-centric practices.
- Build consumer marketing capability across the organisation by demonstrating best practices, tools, and techniques.
- Monitor trends and the external environment to identify new opportunities and inform future strategy.
What You’ll Bring - 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing, ideally within a healthcare or related industry.
- Expertise in consumer research, insight generation, and campaign planning.
- Proven success in localising and delivering high-impact campaigns in the UK and Nordics.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, including balancing masterbrand and disease-state communications.
- Experience working with creative, media, and research agencies.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills — able to unite diverse teams behind a shared vision.
- Data-driven mindset, with strong analytical and project management skills.
- Passion for driving transformation through consumer-centric strategies.
