Turks are looking for a capable qualified Lawyer to join our high performing and successful Life Insurance, Superannuation, and Financial Advice team in Sydney on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with our partners, associates and clients, with a focus on defendant insurance litigation law.

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to
- Working on a diverse range of complex life insurance, superannuation, and financial advice matters;
- Appear in various courts and tribunals, and returns of subpoena;
- Managing/involvement with mediations;
- Develop skills in insurance law and litigation;
- Have regular involvement and direct contact with clients;
- Review and summarise claim files;
- Prepare discovery and compile documents in response to a request for those documents following discovery;
- Draft subpoenas, reasons for decisions, and advices;
- Prepare briefs to counsel;
- Legal research.
Requirements To be considered for this role, you will have:
- An academic qualification in law;
- Current NSW practicing certificate;
- Experience in defendant insurance litigation, preferably within Life Insurance matters;
- Excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.

- Have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, as well as autonomously; and

Salary range: AUD80,000 to AUD90,000 Location: Level 44, 2 Park Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000
