Turks are currently seeking a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant to join our Insurance Litigation practice group in our Melbourne office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• preparation and drafting of court documents/correspondence;
• diary management;
• brief preparation;
• monthly billing;
• opening/closing files;
• executive/ personal assistant duties as required;
• assisting lawyers as necessary; and
• general secretarial and administrative tasks.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will:

• ideally, have recent experience working in a law firm or administrative role;
• demonstrate exceptional organisational skills;
• have a meticulous eye for detail and accurate proof-reading skills;
• exhibit excellent communication skills;
• have the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to work within tight time frames;
• be enthusiastic, committed and proactive approach to work
• show a commitment to a career in legal support; and
• have the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
